Freddie See the crab-i-tat in the lower right corner? The hermies slept by the fire, too, during the power outage.

 

 Freddie and the rest of the gang arrived Thursday, May 4.

 

First to leave his painted shell...

        Meet Freddie in his new house!
Freddie changes his shell. Freddie savors some shrimp Freddie and Felice are the two largest hermies in my family tank, and they chose almost identical shells...this is Fred, for sure, though.
 

Freddie's the first to change shells.

 

 He's also the most voracious eater! Freddie tackles that shrimp.
Freddie the glutton Freddie doesn't let it get away Freddie heads back to bed after that yummy shrimp meal.
It's hard to handle... ...but he gets it under control for a great meal.

Frisky the marathon runner Snickers hasn't found a new shell to her liking yet. Snickers sure loves to eat fruit
 

Frisky is the wanderlust of the crowd. He roams and roams all night long.

 

 Snickers, now, is a homebody. Love her shell, but isn't it getting a bit tight, Snick? After a delicious raisin or two, she heads right back to bed among the coral.

This is Shamrock. She's the almost friendly hermie. She doesn't mind a meal in the bright light of day. In fact, there's less competition then, she says. Rosebud changed from her fancy shell to the comforts of a new modern home so quickly that I missed the pic! Note how pale she is. Since I haven't seen her in almost 10 days now, here's hoping she's hidden deep below the sand, safely molting.
